WHAT WE HAVE DONE SO FAR AS JGCC

This year, as JGCC club students, we discussed the issue of sharing based on the topic of Humanity. First of all, we talked about the values that make people human, watched videos and wrote essays, then we worked in cooperation with an institution called “Volunteer Movement” and worked for the children’s library and food bank. We visited the institution and read books for the blind. In November, we collected food and hygiene aid for “Giving Tuesday”, which is known all over the world, and took them to the institution. Then, at our school’s New Year’s Eve festival, under the title of Sharing Festival, we had our friends play the “Lip Reading” game and decorate cookies, sold tickets, and donated the money to our sister school. We conducted a survey with secondary students on sharing. In April the ‘Volunteer Movement’ association was visited again and this time we helped pack the food and hygiene products of the people who can’t afford to buy and we also gained experience working as a cashier by reading the barcodes of the materials.
