TED Genel Merkez ve TED Üniversitesi iş birliği ile geliştirilmiş olan “Dünya Vatandaşlığı Kulübü” (Global Citizenship Club) çalışmaları 2018-2019 Eğitim Öğretim yılı itibarı ile TED Bursa Kolejinin de içinde olduğu 9 TED okulunda başlamıştır. 15-17 Mart tarihlerinde, TED İzmir'in ev sahipliğini yaptığı yıllık Dünya Vatandaşlığı Kulübü toplantısına okulumuzun kulüp öğrencileri de katılmıştır. Okullardan çeşitli konularda bilinçlendirme kampanyaları oluşturmaları istenmiştir. TED Bursa Koleji öğrencileri başarı ile çalıştıkları ‘Cinsiyet Eşitliği‘ konulu projeleriyle birinciliği kazanmışlardır. Öğrenciler diğer okullarla yeni gruplar oluşturdu. Öğrencilere “Gençlerde İşsizlik” konusu verildi ve soruna çözüm önerileri sunmaları istendi. Gruplar çözüm önerilerini sahnede sundular ve TED Bursa Koleji öğrencilerin içinde olduğu grup oylamayı kazanarak en iyi çözüm önerisi kategorisinde başarı elde etti. Etkinlikler süresince öğrenciler öğretmenler tarafından gözlemlendi ve değerlendirildi. “En yaratıcı öğrenci ” ödülünü TED Bursa Koleji kulüp öğrencilerinden Shahd Yasser kazandı.
The Global Citizenship Club which was developed in cooperation with TED Headquarters and TED University, started in 2018-2019 academic year at 9 TED schools including TED Bursa College. March 15-17, TED Bursa The Global Citizenship Club attended the 1st annual GCC Club interchange hosted by TED Izmir. Schools were asked to compete against each other and create an awareness campaign about the topic assigned to them. We were very pleased when TED Bursa was announced as the winner for their campaign for “Gender Equality”. Students were divided and regrouped with other schools. Students were given a new topic and asked to come up with a solution to the problem. The given the topic was “Youth Unemployment”. Their group had to complete against another group with the same topic. After presenting their solutions on stage in front of everyone, the audience voted for the best solution and presentation. Ted bursa students’ group won the vote and the challenge. During this challenge, students were observed by teachers and judged. At the end of the event, it was announced that Shahd Yasser had won an award for “The most creative person”.
